Haldwani Residence

An example of modern, minimal, futuristic and utilitarian residential unit. The residence is planned over an open plan concept with minimal walls and furniture for the segregation of spaces. Double height glazing with green outside gives a panoramic unobstructed view of the whole built-form.

The facade is kept raw and untamed on one hand with concrete and mild steel finishes yet on other hand it reflects the glare through polished stone cladding and glass. Wood is used as a contrasting element. The parametric jaali in mild steel creates a play of light and shadow in the interiors and allowing a sneak peak of outer world.
